D.A. Smith

D.A. Smith is joining Aspire CRE as a Managing Director of Property Management and Office Leasing. With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, D.A. will lead Aspire’s property management division, overseeing both the leasing and management of office buildings. Since 1994, he has consistently completed 40-50 lease transactions annually, and his responsibilities extend to managing capital and tenant improvements, tenant relations, and daily property operations.

 Before joining Aspire CRE, D.A. spent nearly 19 years with Briarhollow Realty Group, Inc. managing and leasing multi-tenant suburban office buildings in Houston. His career also included sourcing real estate acquisitions and representing tenants in complex leasing transactions.

Earlier, D.A. spent 11 years at Trammell Crow Company, where he gained extensive experience in leasing, management, financial reporting, and due diligence for building sales across various business lines.

D.A. holds a BA in Economics and a minor in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin. He has been a Licensed Real Estate Salesman since 1994. Outside of work, D.A. served as a director for Pearland Little League, coached youth sports, and volunteered at New Hope Church in Pearland.  He is thoroughly enjoying his time with his wife, Pamela, as they transition into the empty nest stage after raising three incredible children—Nathan, Matthew, and Emma-Kate.
